What is a Lockdown PA system?

In the case of an intruder or security threat, a Lockdown PA is a dynamic audio system that is installed throughout a school which can be activated via an emergency button to play a tone and/or a pre-recorded Lockdown message. The emergency buttons can be installed anywhere throughout the school, however they are usually located in the school reception or the head teacher’s office.
